The website www.galerievaclavaspaly.cz (“Website”) is operated by PPF Art a.s., registered and existing under the laws of the Czech Republic, Company No. 63080672, with registered office at Evropská 2690/17, 160 00 Praha 6, Czech Republic (“PPF”).
To access the Website, you are not obliged to give PPF any personal data, including e.g. your e-mail address.
Should you contact us using the contact data on the Website, if in any communication between you and PPF, PPF happens to obtain your contact information, PPF will not use it for any purpose other than communicating with you. If your communication is delivered to PPF, but on account of its content was intended for another company in PPF Group, PPF is not obliged to forward the communication to the relevant company; in this case PPF may (but is not obliged to) provide you with contact information for the relevant company in the group for you to contact it directly.
Personal data of persons requesting the provision of Photographs in print quality
PPF does not permit unspecified persons to download Photographs in print quality from the Website. The use of Photographs on the Website in print quality always requires PPF’s prior consent to be granted to a specific person. PPF ordinarily grants this consent to journalists and other persons involved in disseminating information on cultural events. There is no legal entitlement to this consent.
Before granting consent to use a Photograph in print quality, PPF requires the completion of an electronic form representing a request for permission to use a specific Photograph in print quality. In such cases applicants shall enter their identification and contact data in the form, specify the photograph requested, and describe how they intend to use it.
Personal data concerning identifiable natural persons are protected under the applicable legislation governing the treatment of personal data, and in particular under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – this Regulation (EU) 2016/679 will be subsequently referred to as the “General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”.
With reference to the processing of your personal data, we present the following information:

2. Personal data processed
These are the data you provided in your request for the provision of a photograph in print quality, i.e. your name, surname, e-mail, telephone number (optional), the intended use of the photograph requested and its purpose, scope and duration (“Data”). PPF will add to these Data information on whether your request was granted or not, and when this happened.
3. Period for which the Data are processed
The Data are processed for a period of 12 months.
4. Purpose and means of processing the Data
The Data are processed for the purposes of collecting, assessing and archiving requests for photographs in print quality received by PPF, and for recording how these requests are handled, and for communicating with an applicant with reference to the handling of the applicant’s request and the applicant’s use of the photograph. Processing is entirely in electronic form.
5. Legal ground for processing the Data
The legal ground for processing the Data is the applicant’s consent to its processing. The applicant has no legal obligation to provide PPF with the Data and grant consent to their processing, i.e. this is entirely voluntary and is solely at the applicant’s discretion. The applicant is entitled to withdraw this consent to processing the Data.
The withdrawing of consent will result in the erasure of the Data.
6. Processor, other recipients
Work related to assessing requests and providing the photographs to applicants who have requested them in print quality is performed by professional PPF staff. Therefore it is professional PPF staff who have access to the Data.
Employees of Ogilvy One who are in charge of managing the Website also have access to the Data.
7. Miscellaneous
If you wish to make a complaint to PPF regarding the processing of the Data, please contact info@galerievaclavaspaly.cz.
You also have a right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for the protection of personal data. This is the Office for Personal Data Protection in Prague, www.uoou.cz.
PPF processes the Data in a manner that should ensure their appropriate security and protection in view of the latest technological developments, especially in IT and electronic communication. The appropriate security and protection of the Data is achieved with the help of technical and organisational measures to prevent the leaking, loss, destruction or damage of the Data.

E-mail addresses of persons registering for the newsletter
PPF provides electronic newsletters in the form of individual or summary communications with information on cultural events held at the Josef Sudek Studio and other cultural institutions that are part of PPF Group, as well as other information on cultural events, especially if these are coordinated by cultural institutions linked with PPF Group.
PPF allows anyone who is interested to register for this electronic newsletter, and the newsletter will then be distributed to the e-mail address entered. The only condition for registering is to provide an e-mail address to which the newsletter should be sent. You can opt out of receiving the newsletter at any time.

The legal ground for processing the Piece of Data is the applicant’s consent to its processing.
